The Auburn Skydiving Club is up and running!

Auburn had a history of a skydiving club. We're now reopening this club to get the sport started at Auburn again! If you'd like to help out, let someone know. We've got some work to do!
We were recently allowed to place ourselves with Auburn University through the AIAA - American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. We're very thankful to Dr. Thurow and those in AIAA who have helped charter us.
Why join the club?Members of the AU Skydiving Club are mainly concerned with jumping. We would love to train you to a level where we can jump side by side, flipping and spinning around. In the future, we'll be taking on the Collegiate Team National Competitions.
Dues and Fees:
The first requirement to join the AU Skydiving Club is to make two jumps with us. It takes a strong-willed person to jump out of a plane once. It takes an AU Skydiver to come back and do it again!
The cost to join Auburn Skydiving is $5 per person per semester - as of now. IF we decide to purchase gear and equipment, this will obviously increase. Membership is not required to jump.
College Skydiving Website

Over the course of the National Collegiate Competition this past year, there was a lot of talk about college students having a tough time getting together for events. There is now a new website that was started in January this year by students from Georgia Tech, Kansas State University, and Virginia Tech. A few ideas from these students and a few ideas from Chris Spence have turned into something pretty big for the college skydiving community. The site is
www.CollegeSkydiving.com and everyone is welcome to join the Forum and Photo Gallery.
